Data Solutions Analyst
Summary:
Data Solutions Team
Collaborate with other members of the Data Solutions team to provide critical data insight to the various teams developing and supporting Star Citizen!
Associate user behaviors with marketing data to determine key changes that can improve sales and player engagement. Create visuals and dashboards in response to data consumer requests. Audit data storage and collection. Build data jobs to process and manipulate data. Connect designers and engineers with visualizations of the data that they produce. Provide insights when delivering visuals/dashboards to promote data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities:
Create specialized analytic reports
Create/maintain visualizations and dashboards
Audit metrics for malformed/unoptimized data
Support different team’s analytics requests
Design and implement data jobs for transformation and aggregation
Educate analytics consumers on usage of data visualization software
Highlight trends that can provide marketing and sales insight
Prepare regular reports on sales and marketing performance
- Identify areas for improvement of visual reporting
Requirements:
Three or more years experience as an analyst or other relevant experience
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Eye for aesthetically pleasing visuals
- Experience with one or more of the following technologies:
○ SQL
○ Google Analytics
○ ElasticSearch
○ Kibana
○ Tableau
Pluses:
Experience with E-Commerce or Game Monetization
Experience with Python, Spark, Athena, Redshift, Jupyter Notebooks, Figma, JIRA
Degree in relevant fields (CS, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Business, Economics, etc…)
- Experience with Big Data projects
